The Mount Without
The Mount Without is an events venue and creative space in the former church of St Michael on the Mount Without, on St Michael's Hill in Kingsdown, Bristol. Wikipedia says the church was badly damaged by fire in 2016, and that after a change of ownership in 2019 it was extensively restored, with a new roof and a converted crypt, reopening as an events venue and creative space in 2021.
A 2018 Church Times report described plans to turn the main body of the church into an events and community space with a museum in the crypt, and Bristol24/7 reported in 2020 that it was set to reopen as a dance and events venue for receptions, art installations, parties and networking events. Bristol24/7 said its licence allows only six pre-arranged events a year to run past midnight.
