Alternate presents Photek & Total Science

Bristol drum and bass promoter Alternate brings Photek back to Lakota for his first DJ set in the city in more than 15 years. His last Bristol appearance was headlining Pinch's Subloaded night at Lakota in May 2011.

Photek's releases on Metalheadz and his album Modus Operandi helped shape jungle and drum and bass in the 1990s. He has since worked across electronica, film and video games, and has a Grammy nomination to his name.

Total Science play a two-hour set marking 30 years of their label C.I.A. Records, with Rupture's MC Blackeye on the mic. Sam Binary and Dead Man's Chest complete the bill.

Alternate and Lakota have form together: they co-presented the first Bristol edition of Metalheadz' Blue Note sessions in the Lakota Gardens in June. This one is strictly 18+ and runs until 4am, so it is a long night for serious heads.
