Sawmills Halloween: Egyptian Lover

Sawmills' own Halloween party welcomes West Coast electro pioneer Egyptian Lover back to Bristol. Headfirst marked it as an editor's pick with a sell-out warning.

Egyptian Lover is a Los Angeles DJ and producer and a master of the Roland 808 drum machine, whose 1980s electro and boogie funk records are still dancefloor staples.

Room one also has a first-time back to back from Gene On Earth and Saoirse, two of the UK's most distinctive selectors across house and techno, plus local hero SILQ and YOUYOU.

Room two features live sets from Radioactive Man and Berwick, Joshi T b2b Hadi G, JPEG, Mollie Rush b2b David Oblivion, and Muzhit.

Sawmills is a sprawling temporary venue in a disused timber yard on Eugene Street. Its nine linked warehouses and courtyards hold up to 4,000 people. It comes from the team behind The Jam Jar and The Underground. Doors at 8pm. 18+.
