Mr Wolf's

Mr Wolf's, at 32 St Nicholas Street in the Old City, is one of Bristol's most established small live music venues, with more than 20 years behind it.
Headfirst says you would be hard pushed to find a successful Bristol band that has not played there, which makes its listings a great place to spot up-and-coming local talent.
The music policy is broad, from acoustic and funk to punk-ska and breakbeat. Bands are usually on stage from around 10pm until midnight, and DJs carry on until 3am or 4am depending on the night. That makes it a handy place to start with a gig and end up dancing.
It has historically been cheap: free on Monday open mic nights and only a few pounds on other nights. Check current prices on the listings.
Coming up are a night of Jamiroquai, Mr Griff & The Grifters with Cook Father, Felonious Funk with Every Day Quartet, and roots double bill Revelation Roots and Datura Roots.
