Propaganda is a long-running UK indie club night, and its Bristol home is The Fleece on St Thomas Street.

The music is indie, alternative rock, post-punk and Britpop, with DJs playing acts like The Smiths, Arctic Monkeys and Bloc Party alongside current indie favourites. Its Bristol nights run regularly on Saturdays, and entry has typically been about £5 on the door, which keeps it popular with students.

Propaganda has also toured the country with live bands, including a 2021 tour with a date at O2 Academy Bristol, and teamed up with Kerrang! Radio in October 2023 for a run of club nights that included The Fleece.

This week Propaganda is at The Fleece on Saturday 24 October. On Halloween it hosts a silent disco across Bristol Aquarium and We The Curious, billed as Bristol's biggest silent disco ever.

The Fleece opened in 1982 and has hosted Oasis, Radiohead and The White Stripes, so it is a fitting home for an indie night.
