The Trinity Centre is a converted Grade II* listed former church in Lawrence Hill, East Bristol, and one of the city's last independent venues.

It has been part of Bristol's music scene since the 1970s. Trinity has hosted many of Bristol's major musical movements, including dub, ska, jungle and the Bristol Sound, and acts such as Joy Division, The Specials, The Prodigy and Public Enemy have played under its roof.

The church and grounds were covenanted to the city for community use, and since 2004 it has been run by Trinity Community Arts as a multi-arts venue and community centre. Alongside gigs it runs theatre, dance classes and community events.

True to its heritage, Trinity is still a sound system venue, with regulars including Teachings in Dub, Sofa Sound and Timedance, alongside touring bands and local talent.

This month's highlights include Chaos In The CBD's In Dust We Trust tour on 23 October and PullUp's Window Kid Halloween show on 31 October. High Fade's Twice As Nice tour and Quantic meets Firmly Rooted Soundsystem follow in November.
