Paradisco — Bristol club night promoter

Paradisco is a Bristol DJ and party collective that has been running club nights and events in the city since 2015. Its parties often go under the banner Disco Isn't Dead.

The sound is disco, soulful house, electro and slick 80s grooves. One founder describes it as glitter-soaked disco, and the nights are known for a joyful, dressed-up crowd. Bristol247 reported that the night began in Nottingham before moving to Bristol, where it found a monthly home at the Crofters Rights (now The Croft) on Stokes Croft.

Members and associated DJs include SPICYIVY, credited as the founder of the Paradisco and Disco Isn't Dead events, founding member Burly Chassis, and resident Safiye, a regular on Rinse and SWU.FM.

Safiye headlines After Dark's Casa Disco on 24 October, so that is the easiest way to catch the Paradisco sound this week.

The collective has also released a compilation for Palestine, reported by DJ Mag, featuring artists including Moving Still and CC:DISCO!.
